Hey guys. Recently the oil filter housing of my gas powered 1955 TO-35 has started seeping around the hex head of the long through bolt. I've had the tractor for three years now and it never leaked until now. I tried a new oil filter to no avail. There is no washer or gasket betweeen the bolt and the oil filter housing. Is it supposed to have one? I don't see how it stays sealed without it but it always has until now.
I'll go to the parts store today and see if they have any soft metal washers, those are the best ones I've found. I just think its weird how in three years and numeros oil changes it never leaked until now.
