I bought the king kutter tg-48-y tiller recently but haven't used it yet. It is rated for a minimum of 20 hp PTO.

I have a JD 2305 which has the 18 hp PTO. I was told by the sales person the tiller would work but am concerned after reading some articles on line.

Will the tiller work with my tractor (without damaging the PTO)? Worst part is I have had it too long to exchange it for another tiller.

Should work fine , I'm used a 48" Bush Hog tiller on my old 2305 and now 1026r.. Just make sure your pto shaft is not to long to do damage to your tractor. May need to cut a several inches off both shafts.

I've been using an old Pittsburgh/TaylorWay for 6 years now and never a problem. I did buy a clutch which makes me feel much saver.
