Hey Guys, many of you enjoyed my restoration thread on my 214, now i have 3 more to share. i consider them "done" but i need a few more decals and a few odds and ends. many of you will notice i dont have grill emblems on my two tractors. i know its not original, but i do not really like them that much. (sorry Katt):sorry1:.

anyways sorry for not having a bunch of before pics. but here is some eye candy.

We will start with the 317 Repowered with a Twin 18HP I/C Briggs.

Restored lens

Here Is a Weight Bracket i Fabbed up to bolt to the back of the frame.
And i poured this concrete block about 280lbs

317 Finished

37A Snow blower for 214

I hope the snow just piles up!!!!

Thanks! the blower was a little more involved.
i had a heck of a time getting the auger shaft out. the bearings were seized on the shaft and the PO had the end of the shafts mushroomed with a hammer. i got her all fixed up tho so it went back together really easy..

only problem i have is it seems the blower is making a little more noise that it did last year. the chain sprockets are lined up right, chain is tensioned good. plenty of grease.
any ideas?

Excellent work! Mom and Dad probably won't mind the blower and blade when the driveway gets cleared this winter.

It looks great.
Nice to have them all cleaned up and looking good.
On your blower noise. Did you replace the chain?
The chains get streached and they get loud.
If you didn't replace it I would replace it and see if it's back to normal noise.

The first time I went to put the block on I was home by myself. I was so excited to get it on i couldnt wait and I had to pick it up and put it on by myself.

Thanks alot for all the positive remarks.

To the last post, my parents told me now that I turned 18 I can go get my own house and let my stuff dry in my own living room and put all my "junk" in my own garage. Little do they know A 110 round fender will be coming home this werkend:thThumbsU
