I bought this tractor many many years ago... It's been mowing grass forever. This is my son many years ago in the first and second and picture and the last two was just this week . It's the first tractor he ever used. So last week I gave it to him. Now it's back to work. Looks like hes smileing....

Now that is cool.

As much as I love my Deere I highly doubt it will be around in 20-30 years, but the memories of my son riding on it will last a lifetime. That you're able to supplement those memories like you are- that is something else.

Just replaced the engine with a Briggs IC 5hp.
Thats all it ever needed. Even the blades are original.
They don't turn fast enough to ware out.

Nice. If you take care of these machines they will outlast you. Look at my collection most of it is older then me and they still run today.
