I cant help how dumb this sounds but I have to find out somehow/somewhere whch one of these gaskets goes where. Does the small ones w/o peel & stick glue go on bottom or top of configuration shown in pic and does big ones w/the peel & stick go on top or bottom. The manual just shows them as being the same size and the reason the jug is sitting as in picture is because thats the way I took it all apart.
I really have to get this part here taken care of because once this is done ( installing springs & valves & new gaskets) I can cruise through the rest......well in Mule gear anyway ya know lol.
But I really wanna get this part here taken care of and the gaskets is the thing holding it all up.
Thanks in advance if anyone replies.

The jug is the only pic that isnt upside down, I see thats still an issue.

They really can only go one way.

The smaller round ones go around the valve guides, above (when rightside up) the flanged steel part which goes on top of the lifter covers. The larger rounds ones go on top of (around the rim of) the lifter covers, below that round flanged steel part.

You've got two of those round steel parts. 1.5" diameter, with a .625 hole or so in the center, where it goes over the valve guide. Get out on, and grab your gaskets, and test fit the gaskets up against the steel part. You'll see that it's pretty obvious what goes where.

Thanks jrd, I was hoping you would reply and that should do it for me. Im intimidated as heck w/this mainly because its the last thing I did before putting it up for the winter as my shop is outside under a car port and late in winter work is out of the question, and the pics I took of this procedure are dated 9-18.
I pulled the jug off of L model and removed the springs and valves and pieces of gaskets that were left and them removed the jug from L I wich was a complete mess and I did as best of a hand grind job on valve intake and exhaust "holes" for sake of better word I cant think of right now and I'd never done that before of course and cleaned the heck out of intake ports and exhaust ones as well.
So to keep in the way I did it I need to get springs and valves & all that on and just flip it down in the valve covers that have new gaskets and I got new gasket from crank case to jug and same time get piston back on connecting rod and piston in jug and all that jazz.
Big diff in L & LI, I just hope heads are the same, they sure seem like they are.
If not I'll just have to clean the LI head up as well.
But I see no difference.

P.S. Im glad its gonna be a standard bore now because I didnt care for the .0030 over, just a bit to much to keep cool.

Thanks jrd. After a cpl months I finally got off my duff ( have plenty of other issues to deal with as well) but I finally got the guts to put valves and springs back on and this post from you saying it was obvious where the gaskets went is what did it for me especially when I sat one of the big ones on the spring towers (as I call them). I couldnt get them to fit anything else lol.
