No worries about the repower? I thought I had read that perhaps a repowered one is not the best choice.

OK, thank you for the advice. Now there is this one to consider. The PTO thing, I am fairly mechanicaly inclined, is this a deal breaker? why would it not mow with the "old style" PTO?

Mine has been on the job here since 1982. They cost $2200 back then. I can't imagine how a manual PTO clutch works with this model.

I had an older 111 with the manual PTO and it worked just fine. I can't remember what year mine was but I liked the tractor and how it worked. I also a a snow blower for it and it would throw snow with the best of them! I too would not worry about the repower.
