FINALLY! First use of the season.

(Took this from the driveway and it's still snowing and blowing, that's the white streaks you see)

Ready when mother nature is lol....Have the plow on the SS16 now but the snowblower attachments ready willing and able at a moments notice! :dunno:
Yeah, you're not going to leave the 990 out of the winter games are you?
If I had one more weekend to mess around with it maybe. Had trouble starting her last weekend, so I concentrated on the new Craftsman cab and a few other details for the current snow team. Now the ground is covered with white, so I don't know if I'll be out back working. My weekend plan right now is Patriots game on Saturday, burning season starts Sunday!

It's finally snowing! January 21st and it's the first measurable snowfall in our area, that's just crazy as we had 2+ feet by this time last year. I'm having a tough time being patient enough to wait for it to actually accumulate, been chomping at the bit to start the Cub for the past 2 hours and it's finally looking like we have about 1.5 - 2 inches, should get 4ish by the time it's done. I'll try to remember to get pics.

Me too! :thThumbsU I want to launch the tractor & blower on their maiden voyage down my drive (well, new to me even if they are ~40 years old and still running strong).

Same sentiments here! (But not enough snow to do anything about it, unfortunately)

Nothing down here either, my gt18 is all ready in case tho. It's funny I've never seen so many people wish for snow until I joined this forum, and here I thought I was the only one!

ggsteve looks like you have your bases covered, I have one atv plow for quick removal of small amounts and the tractor cab blower looking forward to having some seat time!
WooHoo! Tractor 4 : Driveways 0
Just got back in from doing basically the entire cul de sac. Cub ran like a champ but the blower wasn't blasting the snow across the neighborhood like I expected. Last year it seemed like it was throwing 10 inches of wet stuff further. After the first two driveways it seemed to "loosen up" a bit and throw a bit further. Anyway, I had no problem doing 4 driveways in less than an hour and that includes stopping to walk back to my garage to get the ice melt for the neighbor's drive (I was stuck at the bottom of their drive and I don't have the chains on the tires right now) and letting it eat into the ice for a while. The best part was the A-hole neighbor across the street was watching out the front window as I went back and forth in front of their house and didn't stop to do their drive, gee maybe they shouldn't have been such d-bag's, karma's a *****. Still coming down heavy and it looks like another hour of this before it lets up, should be at least around 5 - 6 inches maybe more, which means more seat time for me :bannana:.
