I did find this company that sells heaters, wipers, lights, and cabs.

How long do those hair dryers last? I would think the duty cycle isnt very much on them.

Interesting direction.

With two engines (tractor & generator), two hair dryers, and a snow blower running do you wear hearing protection for those 4 hours?

The hair dryer box says 1,875 watts. He has two so 3,750 watts if both are on their high setting. That is a large inverter. Probably less expensive to have two smaller ones but a 2,000 watt inverter is not small or inexpensive either.

...and then you need a LOT of amps at 12V to support those inverters. 30A (2 1800W hair driers) at 120V needs at least 300A at 12V (plus some extra for inefficiency within the inverter)... You'd want to also add a high-power alternator to your tractor or else you'll drain the battery pretty quickly.

I'm happy with the heat, sound level, and cost of my propane. Not a good solution for the OP's 4 hour missions though - without adding a larger tank to the setup.
