That might be tough. Guys can get quite religious about their brand.
I needed this forum last year when I had trouble with my saw.. I had to get the info I need from another webpage!:fing20::sorry1:

I like it!:thThumbsU

COOL! Likey-likey!

Will some of the chainsaw threads in The Tool Shed get moved in here?

Maybe, depends, but probably not.:trink40:

Most likely, not WDG! :sorry1:

It would take a massive effort to not just move them, but keep the following posts under the OP's thread from being corrupted. We decided it's better to let everyone know that there is a specific forum for chain saws. And, if a member want's to put a link in this forum to another existing forum post (about their chain saws) that will work too :fing32:
ken thank you for making this

Your Welcome Calvin, but it was made long ago when the site opened, then closed and hidden away for years.

I and a few other Mods just requested that it be opened back up. :fing32: Which Mark777 was kind enough to do for all of the members to use :fing32:

I don't know, I have a Stihl, Husky and a Makita/Dolmar saw. They are all pro saws and are great.:fing32:
Ken how can we make this chainsaw forum top ranked in google so it will outrank the other chainsaw site ?

Re: Husqvarna 2100CD

Just noticed there was a chainsaw forum now. I would like to know the value of a Husqvarna 2100Cd in very good condition. I plan on buying a smaller Husqvarna since I am getting too old to crank this one. I need to buy one that has a very light pull to crank. Thanks for any help.

Those are real desirable saws and getting harder to find. I wouldn't take less than 500 bucks for it...Bob
Re: Husqvarna 2100CD

I hope to find out if I can make a reasonable deal tomorrow. I feel sure that the dealer will not give me the full $500 I could probably sell it for if I can find the right buyer. Do you think that I might be able to swap for a new 445 or 450 which sell from $330 to $370? I know that I could just buy a factory reconditioned 445 or 450 for $250 to $290 but I really had rather go with a new one.
I doubt if the dealer will give you 200 bucks for it. He will say its old and heavy and no one wants them anymore and turn right around and call his buddy and guess what i just got. Cha Ching. If you want to really sell it put it on craigs list for 500 and don't take a penny less because it will fetch it. Trust me 100cc saws are a rare bird. Join this forum also. http://www.arboristsite.com/chainsaw/ ...Bob
Re: Husqvarna 2100CD chainsaw
