Has anybody have soil tested and found anything like barium or aluminum where it wasn't found before? I can't remember who I spoke with that had it done before.

For as long as we have as a country thrown junk/trash/garbage in the ground I wouldn't be surprised at anything that would be found in a soil test. Not sure why that would even be surprising. Roger

I remember someone mentioning they had soil testing done regularly, and they found high degrees of aluminum and/or barium…..this was farm soil.

If you didn't know you can take a sample up to the UConn extention service on Newtown Road (route 6) in Bethel and they'll test it for free. Check with them first to find out how they want the samples taken
