I need help locating a Tecumseh carb rebuild kit or a new carb.
The 5HP model # is H50 65?63K, serial # 2185R. The carb has 96 2F 29 stamped on the body. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Have you called your local parts dealer??? Give them numbers off the engine and they might have it in stock,,,if not,,, they can order it. Or tell you what ,or if you will be able to get it anywhere.

I have not found any part for a engine that can't be ordered . No matter how old or rare.

Should be a tecumseh kit PN 31840. See if this looks like your carb: http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=tecumseh&mn=CA-631067A&dn=1061CA1061631067A-CA

Given the missing spec no. they show only a 65163K and a 65363K and they both use the same kit.

lol. I didn't even notice the missing number. I was wondering if I was missing something and almost stated that in my other post.

Thanks everyone for your advice. The dealer had the part and I got it fixed. Runs better than it ever did. I now have to remember to drain the fuel bowl and using it......:thanku:
