Alright it's almost that time! I know that no one on here probably has a ton of money to blow, but anyone got any big tractor related plans for the refund?

Got a few things lined up here.

1. im guessing a 67 (68 maybe?) with a 3 pt, duals, and what LOOKS like a middle buster? the dual turf/ags throw me off a bit, so I am wondering if its actually adapters or some kind of home rig. Anyone recognize that engine? I have a 10hp tec and a 12 I bought from GT80, both have the air cleaner in the front not on top?
either way, Im sure its worth the 200 negotiated price

2. A tractor me and Rick (69l46vert) are talking about splitting
Has two sets of cast wheel weights, 3 pt, cultivator, moldboard, middle buster. Rick wants the weights, wheels, and hitch, I want the attachments, gotta find something to do with that tractor! (I'm all over the hood ornament though).

3. Another guy I talked to is selling me a 3pt, moldboard and disc for 150. I plan on probably turning around and selling these, which I usallly think is a crappy move, but if I am just using the profits to turn around back into suburban attachments/parts/tractors, I see it as ok

Lastly, and this is a BIG maybe and contingent upon me selling off some stuff, I am working on trying to talk the wife into letting me buy a loader. A guy I know offered to sell me his ss 16 w/ loader for 2000. That was the number he threw out there so i am sure there is negotiating to be had. Maybe some kind of trade + cash on my 18/6? This one may be a long shot...

Yes Ihave found two dealers that sell them
1- Duro for $218 a set
2- True powers for $322 a set ...yikes
I would like a set if the True powers but it seems like a lot of money, I can buy tires for my truck with that kind of money :)

Does Sears still have the AGs with silver rims for 2 bills, I plan on those in 23 x 10.5 x 12 ?
They were on sale on their website, but people have had bad luck getting them- it is a good deal if you receive them both. :) before you die :) :ROF

I would see if you can work out a deal for just the loader. Keep your 18/6, IMO, thats the best Suburban.

EDit: the 18/6 id the best tractor IF it had the older frame- the steel on the 73-75 were a little thicker- remember the 18'6 I had with the broken front frame? That could have been a fluke though...

I would look at the Sears Ags. I should have went thru the local Sears store and maybe not had trouble. I never did get them both and gave up, but someone here got the Set right after I didn't get them, so.....
This thread tells my experience/bad luck.:banghead3
