Tapping into a Hydrostatic Transmision?

The thought occurred to me that it might be possible to tap into the hydrostatic transmission for use for aux hydraulics. Anyone have any ideas or opinions on how this would be done? I would assume a switch would have to be used?

If you have existing hydraulic functions (power steering or hydraulic lift) it is feasible.

Otherwise, probably it is not cost effective.

:ditto: but
I'm thinking most don't have the capacity to run much more than the drive system, if they did you would see more powered steering models to go with the the new car look, cup holder tractors :fing32:

I've thought about this, but for a different reason...adding an oil cooler. Anybody have any input?
What transmission? If it's the Husqvarna, I don't think the proper ports and charge pump are present, but I could be wrong.
