Tall T Handle

why did they change over to a bolt that you need a ratchet and socket for instead of keeping the tall T handle, and where can you still get one. can i use one off a older horse on my 90 PTO horse.

My guess is because when Troy-Bilt was sold to MTD, they decided to make the changes. For what reason is any body`s guess.
As far as I know, the T handle is unavailable from parts retailers. You can get one from E-Bay as you posted. The older T handles should fit on your Horse. You should not need the whole yoke, just the T handle.

found a seller that will sell just the T handle, $20.00 plus $9.00 shipping, fair price ?

Two pieces of steel, 2 inches of weld,,, Hmmmmm I would DIY!! :fing32:

Just weld it to the existing bolt, the old bolt would get lost, anyways,,,, :hide:
