:thThumbsU get it. :lalala: nope don't. :hide: I know nothing about them, sorry, just in one of those moods.:sorry1:
Do you really want all that exercise??:bonk:
I don't see to many Ferris brands around in CT, see they are popular in upstate NY. They look like thy are excellent machines but is a Ferris dealer near you.

If you are going to get a walk-behind...get one that also has a step-saver...;)

Are walk behinds as bad as zero turns when it comes to compacting the soil if you run them in the same pattern over and over?
Go for it the walk behind will leave a much nicer cut. I run a lawn maintenance business of my own and am very familiar with these machines i myself have a gravely pro 50 walkbehind which is a nice machine but is a little underpowered. If you are looking to buy new take a look at the better outdoor product's walk behind mowers they are on the cheaper side but the owners love them. Please let me know if you have any questions and i should be able to help you out.

No walk behind's have a much lighter footprint and will not tear up the soil.
I agree, keep the cub for yard chores and as a back up mower, clean the deck out real good and stick it in the shed. The old 100 while a decent mower, will never equil the cut from a newer walkbehind or ZTR. But she can do all the stuff the walkbehind/ZTR cant. Cheers and post some pics of the pair when you make the changing of the guard. Cheers Mike

Just get a small gang reel mower or make your own. I plan on making my own because it's cheaper to buy the replacement heads and make your own carrier. It's like 1/2 the price and you can pull that with your tractor and get an awesome cut. Or make one to attach it to the front and push it...which ever way works best for your yard.

I have a 28" Bunton w/b and love it; I'd like a 36 incher one day but I can mow my yard SO MUCH faster than either my 39" Deere or my 42" sears/Ropers it is not even funny! I'm actually looking at a Grasshopper ZTR for mowing and keeping ONE of my others for tilling, snow blowing wagon pulling etc.
