I wanted to show Lawnboy77 the tags he sent me. I stamped one and put the decals on them. I think they look pretty good. I would have PM you but I don't know how to insert photos.

Very nice! I need a tag for my Quietflite...if I ever get a chance to restore it like I have been planning to do for 6 months now.
Hey Curtis that looks awesome!! I am glad that I could help. So now we know that .040 aluminum is the way to go. You did an excellent job of stamping those straight. If anyone else needs one let me know, I cut out a few extras, going to send some to Ron (aka bald-guy), but I can always cut more.

Thanks guys. I will need some more as time goes on but for now I'm OK.
Lawnboy77 did you ever get a pic of the rear decal for your 5232.
This is a picture of mine. I need to change the color and get some decals,
etc,etc. But it's a start.

Yeah the deck decal for the 64 project is lookin good, kccamp sent me a pic of his and along with a good pic from a 7252 here on the forum I have the design down, just need to figure out some of the words. If anyone can look at theirs and type out the text in both the oval and the bigger print to the right I'd appreciate it. Don't really need another pic at this point, although it would help if someone could post a pic of a completely legible one, but just figuring out exactly the wording is the main objective now. Just a quick update on the project, all the mag parts and shroud/tank have been blasted and primer powder coated and will use a buddy heated paint booth to shoot the acrylic enamel on my days off coming up this week. Decals for the shroud are on the way, I am really excited about this one, but I think I always say that. LOL The one I am restoring is always is my favorite mower until I start the next one, and then that one becomes my favorite. Is this normal?LOL

Thanks,
Rex

I think so, it sound like your way ahead of me. Maybe you could make two of everything and I could then buy them from you. Would that be possible?

Yes that is what I had in mind, she said all I would have to do to get another set made is just contact her, she is saving all the designs and the majority of the cost is the design part of it and we only have to pay that once.:trink40:

Rex, I need at least one tag, possibly 2 if they are available. One for my 7253 and I have a 19" deck from 1973 or so that I want to put the bricktop from the 3057 on, as that deck has a chunk missing from it. Let me know if there are extras available still. Thanks.

Okay Kurt, I think I got you covered on those, it seems we are doing about the same projects, well at least mowers of the same years. We are both doing a 73 model and a 64 model.

NOS or Repop Tags?
They are reproductions tags, I would like to find a place that would print the graphics directly to the aluminum plates, instead of dealing with a decal on those.

That would be great!
