Just picked up a Simplicity Landlord 7010 which should have a 10hp Briggs in it. ID# 1690016 003051 But the Briggs engine numbers are 326431 0127-01 7404151 This indicates it as the 16hp Briggs? Engine looks original equipment, nothing on the engine mounts, etc. to indicate it has been swapped?

So has it been swapped, do I have something weird? (Not uncommon for me) or am I just plain wrong?

I need a carb rebuild kit also, Like to use a forum supporter, any suggestions...

Someone must have swapped it out. I like the bigger hp better!

i would think the 16hp motor is way better than the original 10hp.
now its time to look for a snow blower and plow for that puppy.
