I was out on the lake yesterday scraping or 'shoveling' the ice rink and wondered if a power broom on the front of the 420 would work. The goal is to remove all the snow so the kids can skate. I am afraid if I use the blower I will leave snow and the loader I will scrape grooves into the ice surface and 'trip' the skaters.

Any one use one of the power brooms would it work as well as I think OR am I just looking for an excuse to buy yet another attachment? That's OK with me.

Any thoughts or experience?

Better yet any leads on a power broom?

Where's your zamboni attachment? I would think if the ice is good and solid a power broom would work pretty well. Test it and find out, inquiring minds want to know!
