Can I bolt a suzuki 16785 motor onto my durafore 10324 deck. It kind of looks like it can. Anybody tried this? I also asked a question in another thread about acquiring this toro machine but didn't get any responses. First, if it is a toro 2 stroke is it a suzuki or were there other toro 2 cycles. Second, are all suzuki's of equal quality and desirable as commercial grade machines. This one I have is I think 3.5 Hp but runs great. THanks.

I'm not too sure about a Suzuki 2-stroke bolting to a Duraforce without modifying the deck. But I do know that Suzuki made a 2-stroke and a 4-stroke for Toro, both great running engines when tuned properly.

I wanted to do it awhile back but scrapped the idea because it was too difficult to connect the self propel pulley belt.

As for other two cycles on Toro decks...I think there may have been a Tecumsea two cycle at some breif point in time. (not sure though)
