Odd question but has anyone ever torn up a rearend in a Sunstar? I have never seen one torn up and the reason for the question is I have a modified
John Deere 445 with a loader on it.I use the loader pretty hard around the farm and last week busted up some gears in the rearend and on teardown can't see a good reason for initial failure and the rear really has some weak points.A Sunstar rear/hydro will go in pretty easy so I was wondering how strong they are with something like a loader as I work mine hard that I run with no problems and a couple have a bunch of hrs on them but none have a loader.

loader was an option for the sunstar, as to the durabiltiy i cant help there.

I have never heard of any body tearing up a sunstar rear amd I have 5 of them they should be easy to find and cheaper than Deere Parts by far
