i feel silly even asking this but where can i find the model & serial #'s on a sears suburban 12? i have a gt18 as well and i found these #'s on it, but that was 3 years ago and now i can't remember where i found them!:sidelaugh

thanks alot fellas, i'll give it another look tomorrow. i did check that area but obviously not well enough. thanks again!

All of my Suburbans had it printed on the decal or plate with the shift pattern and speeds listed on it in the lower left corner..its only printed in INK on three out of four of them,so I'd not do what I did and try using brake cleaner and a rag,or else you'll wipe them right off!..I was BARELY able to read the numbers on my '67 and '68 Suburban 12's,and copied them in my notebook for future reference..(of course by the time I get them back up to snuff using parts from other models and years,they might be "mutts" by then! :D)
