Stihl Techs or Owners - Screwdriver Size, Low Speed Side, Stihl 021?

The low speed side adjustment ( the one inside the handle mount ) is hard to get to. What size blade do I need? And is a very thin shafted screwdriver the ticket for getting down in there?

I'm just not familiar with the new Stihl saws but would suppose a very small flat blade screw driver would do it; that and a digital tach was what it took back in the day when I worked on them. Btw, does yours have limiter caps on the screws? I was not aware until some time back that limiter caps were even being placed on them, I sure wish they were available way back when. I literally begged logging crew owners to take away all screw drivers from their operators lol. Here's a video that may help with the adjustments:
Good luck.

Yeah, I saw this video. It is outstanding. But he doesn't give you a look at the screwdriver he uses for the low speed side. Sneaky guy. No limiter caps, I think the saw has been around for a while. I just can't get down deep enough to that low speed screw. Speaking of screwdrivers, it's Saturday night. Time for some Tito's. See What I did there? Thanks for helping out. No problem, glad to help. Btw, enjoy that Tito's for sure; Bombay Sapphire G&T w/lime twist was my go to drink back in the day but with all my heart issues & blood pressure cannot partake of the nectar anymore. :tango_face_sad:

Rudedawg: I just flat out gave up on gin. When I was in the Navy, my ship was in Spain for liberty, and I was in a bar with my guys drinking a lot of gin. So I was dancing on a table in this bar, and the Spanish police came in and locked me up for the night. Spanish jails are not country clubs. When they say "gin makes you sin", believe it.

Ha ha, no doubt it can sneak up on you. What did me in was tequila; oh man you drink that stuff "to-kill-ya". Back in the day that was my wife's go to liquor and I got into it with her one night doing margaritas & sunrises at a shrimp boil across the street at our close friend couple's house. To this day I do not remember most of what went on but she said she saw the devil incarnate partying that night; all I remember was feeling drug down, hung down sick for 6 solid days, no lie. Neither of us drink anymore, but I never touched that stuff again in the 33 yrs. this month we've been together...lol.
