Apparently batteries are now designed to last about 5 years, so if you have much doubt, replace it. While you are looking at it you can clean up the connections and try to run with cleaner terminals like I did, and then go the battery store next week..
Maybe you have one, but if not, invest in a simple ac powered battery charger...I use one about once a week it seems, between the cars, the tractor, the power lift trailer, etc...something always has a dead battery...
