Haulin home the squash.
Been rope starting it since the battery got some very unspecific gravity. Starts easy though. Cool that SS15's have the provision. If one has several GT's then batteries can be a pain in the neck.

Try 2 or 3 of these to help maintain your battery fleet:

Eagle eye on you Hugh. It's a homemade generator. Easy to make out of an old elec. motor. I tried it the other day just for fun and to make sure it still works. There's a pic of it in an old thread,.. search "induction generator". It will run a skilsaw or sawzall, skilsaw starts a little slow but gets good power once it's up to speed. Good for lights too.

i tried growing butternut last year, but there was so much rain, they rotted. Along with all my summer squash. They weren't even big enough to pick, and they rotted :( thats why i didn't do a garden this year.

Yea, last year was wet here too. This year was way dry.

That's another cool thing about these tractors. You can grow a ton of food with them. I canned carrots, string beans, tomatoes, jam, 2 kinds of relish and 4 kinds of pickles. About a hundred jars in all. And all of it made a lot easier because of these old Sears Tractors and implements! :fing32:
