on my g12 i swapped in a clutch setup off of a 1254

it works great
grabs great have to be carefull as if i dump the clutch it feels like its going to lift the front end

anyways
was mowing
and when i stop, put it in a diff gear, then let off the clutch, i get a metal grinding noise

pads looks good and thick when i put the shaft in, ive only prob put 2 hours on it since i put the ds in

any ideas?

push your clutch petal while bending down to watch the rod with nut on it .thats your ajustment.turn nut to left loosens. to right tightens it.most people tighten to much.with old tractors specks change with wear .you just have to experiment.

i realise where to adjust it

just what is the PROPER way to adjust it where it should be

i had to make up the bracket fromt he petal to that linkage
i just wung the adjustment so it was not engaging when i pushed it down, and was engageing when i left off
wasnt sure if there was a proper way to do it
