Am new to zero turn mowing. My Husqvarna had zerks on both front caster wheels and both blade spindles. How often should they be greased with a grease gun and how to know when you've added enough grease? Thanks.

Your owner's manual should have the answer to how often to grease anything with a zerk on it. I do mine once a year, but I rack up less than 10 hours a year on my mower.

You can normally tell you've added enough grease when you start to see grease starting to ooze out of a gap somewhere. Too much can't really hurt anything although it might create a mess. Too little obviously is bad, though.

Be careful with deck spindles as the bearings typically have seals on the outer surfaces. Too much grease would blow those seals. I think the manual calls out how much, but I seem to recall 5-6 shots.
