COOL!

I don't skate.... but I AM Canadian!
I didn't know that was possible. A Canadian that doesn't skate, who'd a thunk it.:dunno: You must have been to busy with the Dog Sled.:sidelaugh:sidelaugh:sidelaugh

Ya, but its awfully heavy for me to pull with no snow on the ground here!

Hey, wait! Can you get a 3PH for a dog sled?!? If you can combine tractors with SKATING, why not with dog sledding?

:)

As most have figured out, it is indeed a Zamboni made machine. When you buy one, you get the tractor and the resurfacer. They mount it and adapt the tractor to fit the machine. They also make a 200 for larger tractors: http://zamboni.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Model_200_Brochure_web.pdf

It is a neat machine. The weather has been awful this winter for making a backyard rink. I tried and failed.

just got back from a hockey game...

and this the first year in 5 we did not build an ice rink for the nephews (too old I guess, them not me :))

Got lucky as it would only be a wood bordered pond this year, so far!

that thing would be great and affordable for municipal rinks etc. might be a bit of overkill for a home rink, ours was 80' x40' but hey if you have the extra scratch...

there is nothing like skating on freshly finished ice though!
