After getting the fuel system primed, and the carb adjusted good enough for now i went for a ride! The carb was WAY out of adjustment.I believe the intake has a leak,i need to run the choke out a bit.But i can live with that for now.I hit the PTO lever and the blades started to spin, but hardly make a noise! The blades and bearings are whisper quiet. It cuts pretty good, better than i thought it would. The power is great,no need to rev her up at all.A real torque monster.I mowed for a good 30-40 minutes without a problem. The tractors rides good, steers nice with little effort.Overall i was VERY happy with it.This is one of those machines that needs some tinkering, but the end result is WELL worth it.Sears/Roper hit a home run with these asa far as i'm concerned :trink39:.

Yea those Onans are a power house on that little Sears frame. Smooth running and easy on the ears. :fing32: These decks have Timken tapered roller bearings.
