Here are some more...
When I had gotten the tractor is was a "smoker"(I'm guessing it sat for quite some time) I maybe had the tractor for a week or so before the engine was done...and I mean DONE. As luck would have it, I had another all original 84 224 with a good engine and only about 70 original hours if you can believe it on the motor. So I decided to donate the good motor to the newly aquired 444 and the rest was history.Nice looking original triple 4.
I like the original deck under it.
What happened that the engine was out?

Pretty awesome especially with out striping wheels. Great cut, great lawnhere are some pics...you be the judge
I must admit that I have a striping kit I more or less made myself for the Case/Ingy decks to get the lawn stripes. I can testify that even without the striping kit the mowers cut flawlessly to the point that with the exception of golf course equipment, I've yet to see or find another finish mower that does much better than the cut quality of the Case/Ingy belly rotary mowers.Pretty awesome especially with out striping wheels. Great cut, great lawn
Thanks, you know the one thing I am so livid toward Case/Ingersoll about is the fact the they fell behind in the PR(advertising) and marketing/merchandise market compared to just about every other brand, especially JD, which in my opinion was one of the major contributing factors in regards to their demise, which is very unfortunate. -JonQuestion is--- do you have enough snort to whip that GREEN machine behind you?????:sidelaugh Nice looking tractor, very good job.:thThumbsU:thThumbsU
