Thats too pretty of a machine to be rollin on her side on day 1.
I agree, but I've long since given up on trying to get my pictures to display correctly on MTF. This picture was taken right side up, it displays right side up on every platform I can think of on my phone and computer, and then I post it here and it is on it's side. Oh well, next step is to get wheel weights and a 54" blade on her. That will make a good tag team with my X748 with blower.Thats too pretty of a machine to be rollin on her side on day 1.
Great combo. It will be interesting to hear which you end up using more.next step is to get wheel weights and a 54" blade on her. That will make a good tag team with my X748 with blower.

You may be right I'm not sure, but I don't have plans for a model 45 loader anyway. Even if I did it would go on the x748. My Johnny Bucket Sr. will fit on the X585 with my frame adapter.Well That's One Cab I would pass On because it uses the Frame Holes for the Loader It Looks Like:thThumbsU
Well if I hadn't Procrastinated I could Have had a Curtis Soft ROPS Cab from Roeder In great condition which is Loader compatible:banghead3 But I guess I have to settle for this for My 2025R.You may be right I'm not sure, but I don't have plans for a model 45 loader anyway. And thanks for fixing my image!
Very nice machine. Congrats. Can I respectfully ask how much it was? I would like to get one myself someday. In a fit of late life crisis I ordered an X585 from Roeder Outdoor Power 1000 miles away a couple weeks ago to go with my X748. The shipping was a killer and I probably paid too much but it arrived today. Boy that Femco cab is solidly built. Here she is:

Still got it backwards, you need to put the cab on the X748 with the blower..................Don't need a cab for a 54" Blade or switch attachments on your tractors.I agree, but I've long since given up on trying to get my pictures to display correctly on MTF. Congrats!!! Man, that looks clean, a LOT cleaner than mine!! And a cab too..ggrrr.. It hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like you have the mount for a loader on there, or does femco use a similar mount for the cab? What size is the deck? I don't need one, but will probably get one when I find a decently priced one. I've seen a few cabs listed here and there, but pricey.. not close.. and not in the best condition. Going to hold out and hope that needle in the haystack pops up someday. Oh, and as long as you can sleep with what you paid, then it was worth it to you! Already have an OTC cab for the x748, which, while not a fortress like the Femco, has the advantage of being easier to remove during the summer.Still got it backwards, you need to put the cab on the X748 with the blower..................Don't need a cab for a 54" Blade or switch attachments on your tractors.
It is a very clean machine, and Roeder's has been top notch to deal with throughout this process. They go through every machine they sell, change all the filters and fluids, sharpen blades, replace seats, detail, etc. They also have narrowed down their shippers to one because they were seeing too much shipping damage from other carriers. The guy was great. He called me and had the tractor out of the truck and in my driveway before I knew it.Congrats!!! Man, that looks clean, a LOT cleaner than mine!! And a cab too..ggrrr.. Color me JD green jealous!
oh, I'd love to swing by sometime and check out that Curtis cab..:tango_face_grin:
I work on a lowly teacher's salary so my wife bankrolled this. Here's the key, my other desire was a Corvette, so she figures she's ahead of the game only buying the tractor. She is a keeper!Great machine! I've been thinking lately that the X728 needs to share some of its attachments, so I too have been doing some searching.
So it's OK to have a "late life crisis"? I'll have to use that one on the wife and see if it works, LOL. Can I use it more than once? :tango_face_smile:
