with THREE commercial Lawn-Boy's in the back of the truck. Buddy of his has a lawn service and these three were no longer being used - says, "No charge. Just get them out of my way." I couldn't believe it - 3 commercial units for nothing. Model numbers were rubbed off of two of them. One is a 10600.

Of course, later on I got a better look at them. One's missing ALL of it's front teeth. I mean from front wheel to offset wheel, there's no deck! 2nd one has a major weld around the front wheel and a chunk out of the back just above the trailing shield. Third one has a crack across the front of the deck. Haven't had a chance to look any closer at them or guage engine condition, but will post some pictures next week.

In the meantime, feel free to PM me if you have an aluminum deck that you're willing to part with.

I've got a 10515 and a 10415. What are your thoughts on converting one or both of those to commercial models? Obviously, decals and model/serial numbers won't match up. How well do you think a "converted 10515" would do on eBay?

Well, you would have a clone 22241 if you put an orange tank and orange commercial wheels on, but if you put a black tank and white/gray commercial wheels on, it would be a clone 10651. Both desired commercials.....
