Snowblower on PK

I can buy a John Deere snowblower single stage 46 inch wide that was made for a 318 John Deere, it comes with hyd hook ups for lift etc...I have the pto clutch with the switch in cab but I am wondering if I need to have dual transmissions to run it as far as speed of tractor goes? Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated as I need to decide shortly today whether to buy the blower for $150-200 bucks....also is this price for blower reasonable?

Going along with Lawn's thread -
I have a 64 Economy 12 HP that I am going to make dual tranny..
Tractor is 64 Economy 12 hp a 1612 with hand brakes and soon to be dual tranny. The 12 on it now is not orginal but it runs nice.
I have 2 Kohler 16's and a B&S 16 in the engine corral.
One of the kohler 16's has been rebuilt - wondering if I should make this the
snow blower monster?

I also have my 76 1614 with the FEL for clearing snow...

Ideas? thoughts?

Think the newer 12 hp will keep the old girl moving slowly yet powerful enough with the 2 trannys and the PK single stage blower . The 64 is manual and has no body {my 67 1612 does as you know} be easier to beef up the 64'
I am in MA, somewhat close to coast - normally heavy wet snow...

OR Just go the Plow route? {and the FEL }
I figure
