Snowblower for a 917.270810 tractor

Hello all, I already have a snowblower for the tractor, model 842-240722, but it is a single stage with a drum instead of open augers and it has issues with the heavier snow. I am wondering what aftermarket snow blowers that are 2 stage would be able to be used on the tractor. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Hello, the tractors number is: 917.270810.

I am not sure what a belting extension is?

Glad you got your dryer fixed. I have had that pacing going on before and it usually is not a good sign!

The snowblower I have has a drum with the vanes on it and there isn't any room to make the vanes larger.

Thr tractor came with the snowblower, weights, chains, cab cover, and the mower deck so I have all that covered. Just trying to get things to the point where I don't have to call the snow plow guy just because the snow is that wet heavy stuff. It is bad enough when the snow drifts so bad and I have to get him to make a pass up the driveway and back. Last year he had to bring by his 'tractor with a bucket' and pulled into the yard with a big frontend loader!

But that is what you get when you build on a old hay field with a 200 ft driveway and no trees yet.

I will have to keep an eye out and see what I can find. $1500 is a little steep right now!
Ahhh that makes more sense! I will have to see what I can come up with. I am hold right now because the tensioner pulley for the drive belt on the blower decided to sieze the bearing yesterday. Hopefully it doesn't snow much before the replacement gets here!

Thanks for the information.
