I'm fishing for ideas on how to manually change the angle of my MTD 190-485B 42" snow blade without leaving the seat. I have an idea, but I'm afraid it might turn into a bigger headache than just getting off the tractor to change the blade angle.
Pictures of your set up would be great. Homemade or factory.

I bet something like this would work.

Heavy Duty 100mm 4inch Stroke Linear Actuator 330 Pound Max Lift 4" DC 12V Motor | eBay

It is inexpensive and easy to wire too (read: If I can do it anybody can). Surplus Center used to sell a great 500 lb actuator for $99 but I can't find it now. I got sick of lifting my Berco snowblower by hand.

My custom fabrication ,bicycle brake handle and cable pulls the locking pin. Push and pull the handle to turn blade . Has been working well for 5 or 6 years,don't remember exactly when I built it.
