I have the 39" snow blower for a 71 suburban 12. Does anyone know what type of oil should go into the gear box? Does anyone have a repair or service manual for this? Or does anyone know where to buy a repair manual for this attachment? Any help would be appreciated.

I've got a similar snow blower. The parts diagram is available on Sears Parts Direct. Unfortunately, the link to a manual points you to a rider, not the blower.
I have a manual for a snow blower that attaches to a Custom. It's very similar, and recommends either SAE 80 or SAE 90 in the gearbox.
