I own a late 80s or early 90s Snapper LT-12. Im looking to fix it up some.

How can i find out what year model it is?

Hey 89YT12 Im adam and i got a snapper yt12 series 4 tractor with a BS 12.5hp engine. I was wondering if you could help me when i got the tractor from some guy who threw it out. it doesnt have the air filter or the top peice that goes over the air filter for the carb. Ive looked and couldnt find what its suppost to look like. Could you please put a pic or two of ur air filter on ur snapper yt12 so i know what mine is suppost to look like. Thanks a million if u could adam.
