Snapper Comet mower differentials specify "Snapper 00 grease," what interchanges?

Has anyone figured out what standard interchange specification correctly describes "Snapper 00 Grease?"

Just for fun, I used to take apart and repair non-working TV sets. Sony did the same darned thing. They'd take standard trade specification parts and deface the top so you couldn't read what standard part fit in that circuit location so anyone repairing their product was forced to buy the part from them. I hated it then and I hate it now. Snapper's been selling this same secret formula grease for half a century and still won't tell customers what it really is. Ticks me off!

Best I can find is -00 Grease 32oz . Bought several items from them and total on 29 lbs shipping weight (2 packages via UPS) was $8.95.

I spent many hours, drilling down various Google searches to find that the grease industry is proprietary but there are several sources for quantity 5 gallon pails; manufactured in China. I don't want to bathe in the stuff, I'm just re-doing a transaxle so a quart should be enough.

The grease itself is a bentonite derived product which has unique properties like showing a time-dependent change in viscosity. The longer the fluid undergoes shear stress, the lower its viscosity. It will remain stable longer when the going gets rough (and hot).
