The title maybe wrong. I want to copy slides to either CD or computer. Anyone have any recommendations that won't break the bank? I have about 500 to do, but time is not a factor. :thanku: myloweslife.com

That would be my recommendation too. Get a flat bed scanner that has ability to do slides and negitives. They usually come with a black mat that fits on the bed, then the slide sits in an opening in the mat. At least the one I had worked that way. Scanner usually needs to be able to do 2400 dpi.

I did some slides I got from an Aunt and it worked very well. All the pictures were clear and sharp. Will depend on the camera that took the picture.

It got to be rather tedious doing one slide at a time. But worth it in the end. Maybe these days they are built to do 6 or 8 in one mat. Then scan each one individually.
