I have one like that on my '94 LT4000. It's always performed very well and is of much better construction than the newer GT models.

The one I have also has a large tension spring that attaches to the lift arm on one end and has a bolt that runs out the back as an adjustable lift assist.

Mine also came with a heavy rear panel that replaces the existing rear frame section and provides the pivot points for the drawbar.

Is the picture supposed to be the entire assembly or (hopefully) there is more that's not shown?

Edit: After looking at the hitch as it was mounted, maybe the GT version didn't come with the heavy rear panel. The existing rear doesn't look any heavier than the LT stock rear though. Looks a little like someone adapted it to the GT without having all the parts.

Got it today... have it most of the way mounted right now. It's definitely made for the GT. As far as the rear panel goes, it's far heavier than my LT, maybe your LT is heavier than mine though...

Now to figure out which way the lift link goes and see if I can keep it hooked up while I have my deck on.
