I just bought a 314 hydro and was wondering if I could take the sleeve hitch off my JD210 and install this on the the 314.The hitch hooked to the manual lever on the 210.What would I need to install onto the hydro if this is possible.

ok--i found where the lift rod would fasten to the rock shaft.Will I need a different lift shaft for the 314 and also will I have to modify my sleeve hitch as my lift rod is on the left side and it would be on the right on the 314

If it's the same integral hitch I have for my 316 Kohler it should have a mounting bracket welded on at the right spot on the right side. I see the lift arms occasionally on Ebay for about $10-20.

The hitch itself will work from the 210 But as you found out you will need this Hitch bar here a picture of it under the 120/140 http://www.weekendfreedommachines.com/advertisers/buske.html you should not have to modifie the hitch itself. IT should be two diffrent connection point's on that hitch. :thThumbsU
