Yep, that's normal with an open auger 2 stage. Stopping at the end for a few seconds will help minimize the pile, but it won't be perfect.
Single and Two-Stage Blower's
All my past John Deere snowblowers have been single stage, now with my new X720, it came with 47" two-stage blower.
My question is there seems to be a build up of snow in front of the blower when
stopping in cleared area's.
I never notice it with my single stage blowers.
Is this common with two-stage blowers?
