Hi,
I have a 'later model' (current style with the fully enclosed hood) Regent with the 14hp Kohler Command and hydrostat...

I'm interested in finding a snowthrower for it, and wonder if it's the same unit as the ones for the Broodmoor tractors. I might step up to a B later on for the heavier transaxle and frame.

I do have an old simp snowthrower I got with an Allis B10 I got a couple months ago... will this work without much trouble? (even though the regent has a vertical shaft engine, and the b10 has a proper horizontal shaft)
Thanks,
Matt

Simplicity/ AC single stage blowers seem to be nearly the same, with some differences in the design of the rear housing. Newer vertical shaft tractors use a sub-frame hitch to mount to the tractor. Compare model numbers of the tractors to see if the sub-frame will interchange.
I was able to find a new old stock one for my '94 Landlord, ( I have more invested in it that I do the tractor and blower combined).
Good luck.
Dan.
