Simplicity Help

Hey guys! Hoping to become a regular here! I have a simplicity 6216 thats starting to give me some problems! Ive used it for 4 years to plow snow but now after running it and getting it hot, it doesnt want to restart? Its got the briggs opposed flat head twin cylinder 16 hp motor. Im thinking it could be one of the magnetos? Carb is sparkling. Also, id like to make some modifications to make it a little more off road friendly during the times i dont use it to plow! Thanks for any ideas!
