If I am understanding you correctly. You have carbon core wires. They are good for not causing static in older radios and TV,s but not good for endurance. The fine pin pearces the core in the wire making a connection. If you have a hole in the wire, it it time for new wires. They work okay but require more attention.
You could just clean up the spark plug, using a spark plug cleaner (basically a small sand/shot in a sack with air to clean the threads and end of the spark plug). Once a year I visit my friend, bring him treats/drinks and clean about a couple of dozen spark plugs. It takes a while because we catch up/BS along with eating and drinking. No more than 30 minutes to do the plugs.
I am an engineer. I have an X300 that breaks belts. I have researched every tech article on the subject. I have replaced the mechanical pieces with Deere parts, I am aware of an issue with a lifting bolt hitting the belt. I finally suspect an improper dealer setup! there are two adjustments to...
A 2005 X595 with 390 hours got traded into the JD dealership.
They are asking $8333 CAD. Comes with quick hitch 47" snowblower, 54" blade, Powerflow bagger, and 54" cutting deck.
They said they went through it and everything checks out perfect.
$8000 is a little bit more than I want to spend...
All of my mowers seem to end up with a lot of cut grass on top of the mower decks. None have belt covers. I can blow the tops of the decks clean, mow, and there is grass all over the top of the deck. Surely this isn't "normal". I searched and couldn't find anything about this.
I have an x475 with quick attach front blade, no rear 3 point. Has anyone made anything for the front quick attach for maintaining there driveway? Thought about making some sort of "rake" to bring back up the rock from being packed down.

My daughter in Jacksonville texted me this morning and asked what I thought about a JD in a garage sale Sunday. It is a GX255 that has four new tires and runs very well. It has a cracked hood, of course, but the top hood is good and the seat, believe it or not, is in great shape. They were...
