Hi

I got a 1950's something Montgomery wards chor trac 2 wheel walk behind tractor, I would like to get new sickle bar teeth for and or get another cutting bar made.

Does anyone know of a good source to find these older replacement teeth as it seems to be an odd size.

Everything I found locally is too large.

Thanks for any help and Ideas

TSC has a big variety of them! At least here in Kansas they do!

I've been to Rural King, and farm & Fleet and made several calls locally to some farm supply places, and so far everything is too large,

hole spacing seems to be a minimum of 2" and above

also with out a part number
It's hard to get any help on the phone, I get someone that is not familiar with older equipment.

so I'm still looking for any help.

thanks

tam

You could also check the troy built site.
Just measured the sickles on our walk behind, they are almost identical to your measurements.
Good luck.

Please let us know if you find them at sickle service. Jari took them and gravelys too. Sears sickle bar also took teeth that size with 1 3/8 rivet hole spacing.

ebay member "littlehcinc" has been selling new repros lately on ebay.
