Hello everyone!!

I'm really not sure if this is the right place on the forum to post this, but in a different post I made, a few people on here said that my tractor was overkill for the size yard I have. I wrote back to say that the pictures were taken in the front yard and it didn't reflect what we own & maintain behind our house. I mentioned that if I could figure out how to take a screen shot of something like Google or Bing maps, I would post an aerial picture of where Michelle & I live. Thanks to instructions by forum member agleisburg, I was able to do just this. As you can see, we have quite a bit property. As a side note, the section of land that separates the 2 pieces next to the highway is owned by someone else. Michelle & I are trying to get him to sell it to us so we can have it to make 1 continous yard. Without further ado, here is that pic....

stladrill,

Even though you may not have the grass to mow, you apparently get most of your seat time in the winter! That's ok too!! Looks like a nice subdivision there.......

Ken,

I'm slobbering.....
The only thing you're missing is the 1/8" scale railroad operating around your property. Someday for me!!

I can't get an aerial view thru Vpike but can get a street level view though.. The pic i got is pre-2008 as I cut down both of the large pine trees right in front of the house in 2009! I also cut down the tall trees to the left of the house as they were growing into my power wires.. Looks a lot different now!! (It's nice to know folks are out there taking pix of my property though!!-- big brother's watching!)

Here's a shot of my wife & 'Mr. Tree' (I better watch out for him!)

I face the west with an open farm field across the street so snow drifts are always a wild card.

However, in SW Ohio...it is hit and miss with the snow...one year you get dumped on and then the next year, just a couple of inches.

Ken, I'm really interested in the rock garden. Where did you get your seeds? We tried to grow some but the grass took it over.
BLUEPAINT, that is an impressive view. The homestead has obviously been going for a while with a windbreak like that.
Hmm... this is all that I could find, without going outside and getting some photos. In this photo, you are looking from our church, up to our place. The field to the left of the road is ours, and it starts at the corner of the fence there. If you squint and look straight forward of the corner of the front rack on my ATV, you can see our house sitting against the ridge- all to the left of the road. We have bottom land with a nice creek running through it, and mountain land, too. My daughter has a nice little horse boarding business now, since we have nice pasture.

I'm not showing anyone my place then. They would probably tell me to get a lawnmower. I like my rig and i'm keeping it!
