I want to put a striper on my 345. Curious what everyone thinks or what other ideas are out there. Broom or roller?

I have an idea of a roller....I want it where I can flip it down or lift it out of the way.

That would be handy. If I had a 3-point installed that's what I would do.

My MTD pushmower just has a plastic debris guard that rests on the grass surface and it does pretty good on my fescue. I am going to experiment with adding some weight, just don't think my 3" cutting height will work good if I get too heavy.

Why not a rubber flap, bolted to the back of the mower deck?? :dunno:

A piece of rubber belting 1/2 or 5/8 inch thick.

This is the Deere broom that attaches to the rear deck of the mower. I had a tow-behind roller that jackknifed every time I tried a 3-point turn. This is a no fuss, no muss kinda deal. I don't even realize its attached. When I raise the deck to transport, I doesn't touch the ground. I mow at 3-1/4" and that seems to work pretty good.
