Bought a new string trimmer last week SHINDAIWA T222 anyone have one?is the speed-feed trimmer head that easy to restring? I tried it out the other day seemed to work very well this model is for homeowners $242.38

I work at a golf course and we use shindaiwa trimmers. 27cc and them things can take a lot of [email protected]#. we run them hard and they last 2 years one of them is actually going on 3.
They are great trimmers. I don't use the speed feed. I believe you have to wind it a certain way for it to work.

Great piece of equipment.. They are pricey and parts are expensive. Mechanically sound will take years of abuse..

But.... theres always a but if ur are not more than basically mechanically inclined they can be very complex to repair.

Good luck with ur purchase as it was a good choice.

Repair? I had a T27 for over 10 years and all I ever done to it was change the
spark plug, repaired a cracked fuel tank and air filter. It got used a lot. Sold it on eBay for $200.
