Thanks.Jughead.....Nice! More photos when you have some time!
The emblem is a re-pop. It is all metal. I ordered it from dennis carpenter.Wow. Nice work.
Was the front emblem in that nice of shape, or did you redo it?
Hardly a trailer queen. There are plenty of areas for painting improvement. I am going to have to mask it off and put another coat on the hood. I am also struggling getting the hood door adjusted. The back of the hood lines up perfect but the front overlaps the nose cone and there is no more adjustment on the hood door or nose cone. I dunno.WHAT??? It is no longer topless?
The pics do not do it justice, it could be a trailer queen, even though he does not think so, for all the work he has put in. I especially that heat shield he built.
I am thinking of ordering the nose cone from carpenter. You can see in the pic that one side is not quite right and It is throwing everything off. Thoughts JohnW?WHAT??? It is no longer topless?

Which picture show the imperfection...I am looking hard and I don't see it...I bet it looks better now than the day it rolled out of the showroom...it looks like you did a beautiful job with it :thThumbsUI am thinking of ordering the nose cone from carpenter. If you look at the picture of the grille you will see on your left that the nose cone is at a different angle at the seam where it meets the hood. This nose cone was in bad shape to begin with, I just thought that we had gotten close to it's original shape, good enough to work anyways.Which picture show the imperfection...I am looking hard and I don't see it...I bet it looks better now than the day it rolled out of the showroom...it looks like you did a beautiful job with it :thThumbsU
He has done some really nice work on it and I am proud of his results even if he does pick it to pieces. Of course we all see flaws in things we do that no one else would even notice.Beautiful job, that is some nice work. It looks wonderful

It sure has come a LONG way from that sad $200 tractor that followed us home that day.
ThanksBeautiful job, that is some nice work. It looks wonderful and I can't wait to see more. You're representing MTF well!![]()
I love seeing these old machines get new life breathed back in to them. Hurts me to see one get parted out.Jughead,
Amazing job. I have a 1958 641 that needs a big rehab. It has an old box steel loader on it, manure bucket and manual bucket release. She has been sitting a while, but your pictures are an inspiration to get going.
Thanks, Bruce
