I have G110 where the Separator grommet (item 1 below) NEVER lasts a season, always breaks, and I get some oil dripping on ground. Replaced it a few times. On the JD Parts site I was thrilled to see that, according to the parts fiche, I'm supposed to have a bracket that holds it in place. That would definitely help with the grommet issue. Mine has no bracket and the separator kind of falls forward from its weight, pulling out and tearing the grommet.

Thinking I had the solution I looked at my G110 engine. There are no holes to accept the bracket (numbers 34-37 below).

Any ideas why the fiche doesn't match my actual mower? Double checked my serial and model and year. Maybe this bracket is an option?

Unfortunatly you need to buy the kit for it, im in the same boat with our g110. Kohler pn 24-755-57 breather kit. It comes with new breather and brackets to hold it on at the tune of $40.

Where do the screws go? Didnt see holes. Although there are 2 screws nearby. I ordered everything separately except the separator planning to use my existing one.

Is it optional or was it supposed to be on there at purchase?

Thanks!

I just got through replacing the same item on my L130. My engine is the 23 horse kohler. The kit came with two different styles of seperator and two screws. My kit didn't include a grommet, had to buy it seperate. Anyway, picked the seperator that fit my application and then drilled holes in the plastic shroud for the screws. The mount is actually part of the seperator.

On the kohler cv730-0020 there are screws in the shroud that you replace. Our G110 is 3.5 hrs away or i would post some pics.
